Akire Coffee is a family owned business, born out of our passion for great coffee and the need to make a difference in an industry that has been commercialized by national coffee chains.

Our Mission

Our mission is to introduce to the world an alternative to the “corporate” gourmet coffee retailers that, while providing you with a high quality product, are also exploiting third world countries farmers in order to bring you their coffee. These corporations also do so at a premium price, retaining large profits for their already multi-million dollar companies while their growers and farmers make only pennies – barely enough to feed their families.

We work very closely with each our Latin American coffee cooperatives in order to ensure that workers are treated and compensated fairly before buying their product. We also conduct regular visits to their plantations and provide their families with special services when in need.

We pride ourselves in treating everyone from our farmers to our corporate clients with the same respect and honesty that is making Akire Coffee a household name in the United States.
