Coffee grounds are the active ingredient in many if not most anti-cellulite creams.  The anti-cellulite creams work in a way to smooth and firm your skin to the point that it diminishes the unsightly cellulite. The rational school of thought believes that directly applying coffee grounds could have the same topical effect on the skin.

Coffee grounds are also a great exfoliant, its coarse nature helps to agitate and arouse the skin cells. It also removes dead skin cells and reduces the size of your pores. The use of coffee grounds on your skin will also firm and tone your skin.

For the best tasting coffee, buy your beans whole, store them in a sealed container in a dark place and grind right before serving. Never refrigerate, unless you are conducting a science experiment on how long it takes to ruin perfectly good coffee. The fridge is one of the absolute worst places to put coffee.

To be vacuum sealed, the coffee has to first release all its CO2 or it will burst the bag. This means the coffee had to sit around for a while before it shipped or it was “sealed for freshness.” Vacuum sealing is best for pre-ground coffee, which we already know is NOT going to taste as good as fresh-ground coffee.

Pierina Nicole de 9 años fue hallada muerta, desnuda y con los labios cosidos, en San Miguel (Lima, Perú), habría sido asesinada a palazos por su propia madre y su padrastro, quienes fueron detenidos por la policía.

La madre de la pequeña: Isabel Mirella Tello Chanduví (31), quien habría confesado que el padrastro de la niña golpeó en la cabeza, cuerpo, brazos y piernas a su hijita.

La niña hallada sobre una colchoneta cubierta con una sábana en el departamento de la madre, la pequeña murió la mañana del lunes. Cuando fue hallada, la niña  estaba desnuda, tirada en el piso boca arriba, con escoriaciones, hematomas y laceraciones en diferentes partes del cuerpo, la cabeza y el rostro. Tenía los labios parcialmente cosidos con hilo de algodón.
En la necropsia se establece como causa de su muerte traumatismos múltiples y asfixia por aspiración, lo que hace suponer que también se le ahogó usando una bolsa plástica. La niña tenía signos de haber sufrido una agresión sexual, además en la casa de la familia fue encontrada una escoba rota, la cual habrían utilizado para matar a la niña.

She was Brutally Beaten, Raped and Murdered

Pierina Nicole, a 9 year old girl found dead in the bathroom of her home. She had been brutally beaten, and raped. She was found naked on a mat, with bruises, cuts and scratches on face, arms, legs and torso. Her mouth had been stitched and autopsy revealed that she suffered a terrible blow to the head as well as asphyxiation (a plastic bag fixed over the head).

Her mother Isabel Tello Chanduvi and Ricardo Ruíz Loza (Pierina’s step-father) are considered the prime suspects of this crime.

La violencia machista se ha convertido en una epidemia que continua contaminando Centro América y que esta desgarrando a países como El Salvador.

A nivel global los crímenes contra las mujeres siguen escalando a una velocidad escalofriante. Un triste ejemplo de esta horrible realidad es el caso de María Juana M,  una mujer de 30 años, asesinada brutalmente en Jiquilisco. Según las autoridades, la víctima habría sido abusada sexualmente, antes de ser asesinada. Por las pistas recolectadas en la escena del crimen se cree que la mujer tras ser abusada fue apuñalada y posteriormente lanzada contra las piedras de la quebrada. La víctima habría sido privada de libertad y llevada por la fuerza al lugar donde se encontró su cadáver.

Crímenes como este deberían de alertar a las autoridades y obligar al gobierno de este país parar estas injusticias. Sin embargo la conducta de estos gobiernos y de las autoridades deja mucho que desear.

Nuestras hermanas merecen ser protegidas y la violencia contra ellas tiene que parar.

El feminicidio es una realidad no un mito y muchas sociedades continúan tolerándolo, el apoyo a organizaciones tratando de parar estas injusticia es integral para estas mujeres.
